Our Story
Long before Farmers’ Markets and community events, our family had a long standing tradition of sharing fresh canned fruits and jams with friends and family. At the head of our family, my mother-in-law, Peggy, taught me the lost arts of canning and preserving.
When she passed, my family and I shared 250 jars of her favorites at her service. Her grandkids called them party favors for her Celebration of Life. Just a few weeks after, calls came in, wanting to “reorder”. Fast forward a few weeks and the CFO application process, and Jars of Delicious joined that first farmers’ market.
The goal has always been to make quality products Peggy would be proud of, using the old school methods she taught us. Over five years strong, we feel like we continue to honor her with every product.
Jars of Delicious is a true “local supports local” endeavor, and our goal is to preserve fresh, local products, using traditional methods, to bring California sunshine and a smile to every customer. Whether purchased from a local Farmers’ Market, given as a gift, won in a community event raffle, each jar represents our growing community of friends and family.

Jars of Delicious is a Specialty Fruits company dedicated to the forward motion of long standing traditions, honoring our family’s past while striving to “spread the love” to our local neighborhoods and perhaps enlarging our footprint to create an atmosphere of true community. It’s so much more than just jam!
